I think that curiosity is the most powerful thing that drives humanity forward. Every scientific, artistic, or social breakthrough starts with a simple question, “why?” or “what if?” We should care for and nourish curiosity in ourselves and in others, because it is the starting point of all progress.

I’m fascinated by ideas, and how a single idea has the potential to change our understanding of the world around us. I found TED, and I found a community of thinkers, creators, and explorers that are all driven by a common curiosity. To me, TED is the embodiment of the value of freely shared ideas, and how one idea has the potential to lead to another and change the world.
