An idea worth spreading

Around the world and at TED there are many people who know how to do - and make - things "right": who have successfully solved problems that still have to be solved in many parts of the world. I am optimistic that eventually, this will trickle up to the entire world population. Those ideas - the ideas about how to fix things - are worth spreading! Let us work on accelerating the adoption of the right ideas.

The TED story

I am currently on the TEDxZurich team, and I am the Licensee and organizer of TEDxZuriberg http://tedxzuriberg.com . I'm one of the founders of TEDxZurich and I was responsible for the production (stage, presentations, Audio/Video) and contributed to several other sub-teams until 2014. See: http://tedxzurich.com At TEDGlobal>Geneva 2015 I had the pleasure to lead a team of several swiss TEDx organizers to organize a day of pre-conference activities for TEDx organizers from all over the world. I have translated and reviewed translations for several TEDTalks. I've attended several TEDx events including TEDxAmsterdam, TEDxZug and TEDxCERN. I organized a viewing party for TED2010 which brought 10 people together who hadn't previously met. I contributed to the TEDxWorkshops at the TEDs and TEDx's I attended and at the TEDxSummit in Doha. TEDGlobal 2005 in Oxford got me hooked on TED. I connected several speakers and attendees to other people in my network. TEDGLobal 2007 was my introduction to Africa. Afterwards I climbed up Kilimanjaro with other TEDsters.

Things you might not know

Since many people know I have a technical background they sometimes don't expect me to have creative qualities too.
