I am a graduate of English–Spanish Translation and Interpreting (LATAM) from Universidad de Las Américas, with experience in translation, interpreting, and content creation. I have completed my university studies and I am currently in the process of obtaining my professional certification, expected in 2026. My experience includes: Technical translation intern at Xenum, where I translated and adapted data sheets for chemical products used in different types of vehicles, ensuring terminological accuracy and technical consistency. Liaison interpreting intern, carrying out field-visit interpreting assignments at several tourist locations in the region, including the Fonck Museum, the Viña del Mar Municipal Theatre, the Botanical Garden, and Vergara Palace. Logistics assistant at a conference organized by COTICH. Tour guide and liaison interpreter in southern Chile. Collaborator at Exponaval 2024 as an interpreter for DS Señales Marítimas. Volunteer translator for four years for an Instagram page dedicated to a music band. In terms of training, I stood out during a course in Cambridge, England, with EF, where I learned English through cultural immersion, strengthening both my linguistic and intercultural skills. I also manage an Instagram account with more than 9,700 followers and a YouTube channel with over 6000 subscribers, both dedicated to my favorite band, where I create content and subtitle interviews for their fan community. With a C1 level in English and native Spanish, I am looking to grow professionally, specialize in an area I am passionate about, and expand my network of contacts. I am open to new opportunities where I can apply and further develop my linguistic, creative, and content management skills.

I love being challenged! I get genuinely excited when diving into complex topics like neuroscience and psychology—the harder the concepts, the better. My real passion is taking those brilliant, complicated ideas and figuring out how to make them feel simple and immediate. When I'm not translating, I'm channeling that energy into creating content for social media, always finding the perfect way to communicate.

While computers are smart, they aren't language thinkers. A human translator doesn't just swap words; we use our deep cognitive understanding—the psychology, the neuroscience—to grasp the consequences and context of an idea. We are the firewall against misinformation and the bridge to true understanding. You can't outsource that kind of ethical and intellectual responsibility.

I first heard about TED back in university. It was on a list of things my professors recommended to gain 'real-world experience,' but it quickly became more than just a box to check. It became a personal goal—a place where I knew I could put my passion for accurate, nuanced translation to its most meaningful use, helping those breakthrough ideas I love.

People usually see me as someone glued to a dictionary, but I have a few creative secrets. I know my way around video editing software, which is handy when polishing up a speaker’s final cut! And to relax? I head straight to the bench—I play the piano. It's the perfect mix of technical discipline and creative flow.
