Bio

I’m Jauza Alif, a final-semester Industrial Engineering student who’s endlessly curious about people, how we think, how we perform, and how we grow. My studies revolve around human readiness and safety in the workplace, but what truly drives me is understanding the human side of engineering. The emotions, decisions, and unseen stories behind every system. That curiosity is also what led me to become an Indonesian linguist at TED Translators. I believe language is the most powerful tools we have. Through translation, i help turn global ideas into stories that people in my culture can understand, feel, and be inspired by. For me, that’s more than volunteering it’s a way of expanding access to knowledge and bringing the world a little closer. These questions guide my research, my work, and the kind of person I’m trying to become. As I move toward graduation, i’m building a path that blends engineering, communication, and purpose a path where thoughtful design meets meaningful storytelling. I want to help create a world where young leaders aren’t afraid to ask better questions, challenge old systems, and push for change that actually matters.

I'm passionate about

I’m passionate about challenging old systems, protecting and empowering people through better engineering. Turning raw curiosity into work that sharpens the mind, strengthens the heart, and inspires others with meaningful ideas that move the world forward.

An idea worth spreading

I’m passionate about the kind of questions that shape the future: What does real courage look like in leadership? How do we make work safer and more human? How can young people create impact through ideas, not just titles?

Things you might not know

People don’t know i’m good at navigating life through my passions, riding my motorcycle on long tours, caring for bonsai like tiny living art, and getting lost in classical piano for the little things that keep me inspired.
