I am a dedicated development professional from Yemen with extensive experience in project and program management. My transition into this field represents a significant shift from my original background in architectural engineering. While my journey didn't begin through traditional volunteer work, I consciously chose to move from architecture to the humanitarian sector, driven by a desire to create more direct impact in my community. I have successfully transferred the rigorous planning, technical design, and structural management skills from architecture to the realm of humanitarian project management. This unique combination allows me to approach development challenges with both precision and creativity, applying architectural methodology to program design and implementation. I currently serve as a Project and Program Manager at "Three Tracks" organization, building on previous management roles at institutions like "Jedaria" and "Medalah." Throughout my career, I have developed comprehensive expertise in managing diverse development programs that address varied community needs, with particular strength in economic empowerment initiatives. My professional approach is defined by strong collaborative capabilities and team leadership. I excel in building effective working relationships across different sectors and have consistently demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams toward common objectives. The systematic thinking inherited from my architectural background, combined with hands-on field experience, has equipped me with robust skills in strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and program implementation. What motivates me in this work is witnessing tangible, sustainable outcomes. Seeing communities achieve measurable progress through well-structured interventions is what drives my commitment to this field. My methodology remains grounded in practical reality, ensuring that programs are both strategically sound and contextually appropriate. My ultimate goal remains creating meaningful, lasting impact in my community. I am committed to leveraging my unique background and professional experience to contribute to Yemen's development, believing strongly in the power of structured approaches and collaborative action to build a better future.

My journey into the world of TED began through Waleed El-Haj—one of the pioneers who dedicated his efforts to coordinating and organizing TED events in Yemen. It was his passion, his modern approach to presenting these events, and his deep belief in the TED mission that inspired me to step into this world and contribute to delivering the best possible versions of TED here in Yemen. Working alongside Waleed and a team of experienced volunteers—alongside professionals from diverse backgrounds, positions, and fields—has been both a privilege and a learning experience. I believe that my previous and current professional experience, combined with my commitment to learning something new every day, will enable me to add value—even if modest—to upcoming events. More than that, I see this as an opportunity to pass on what I learn to the next generation. TED is not just about sharing ideas; it's about building capacity, inspiring action, and creating a legacy of knowledge and innovation. I am excited to be part of this movement and to help bring impactful stories and voices to the stage—voices that reflect the creativity, resilience, and potential of Yemen. Together, with a passionate team and a shared vision, I am confident we can continue to elevate the TED experience in Yemen and inspire many more to think differently, dream bigger, and contribute to a brighter future.
