My Name is Muntasir Ahmed, an undergraduate at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. I consider myself as a youth organizer and believe that good ideas and open communication can lead to positive changes in the world. My work facilitating dialogues with youth enables youth to have their voices heard, learn from differing perspectives, and build relationships with people who inspire them. In addition to this, I am a co-organizer of the TEDx event at the University of Chittagong. This event features many innovative thinkers, creative catalysts, and social change agents from both the university and the community. As a result, many ideas are shared that may change our perceptions and lead us to think differently. I also direct the Dreamunteers Center, where I help create volunteer-driven programs that promote social development and improve community engagement. I am passionate about establishing a non-profit based on research that will assist rural communities with development, along with the ability to empower the youth of Bangladesh. I believe that if the youth are given the resources to be successful and support to succeed, they will take an active role in creating their communities and improving their future and the future of their families.

My passions include youth empowerment, social leadership, and creating platforms for youths to voice out and have an impact on the community. I strongly feel that there is immense potential in colleges and in youth communities that will help influence society in the coming future. I take keen interest in planning social activities through which people with innovative minds and those who think differently come together to do something impactful. Apart from social activities, I have an interest in business, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. I strongly feel that business can be an instrument to solve some of the most crucial issues such as agriculture, food production, and rural upliftment. In short, my passion revolves around connecting people to opportunities and developing their analytical skills and helping young people understand that whatever ideas they have will matter a lot.

The greatest form of change stems from a generation believing that their voices truly matter. Leadership, according to me, is an issue of accountability, where one is accountable for solving problems, uplifting communities, and opening doors of opportunities where there are none. As someone who has grown up in Bangladesh, I have witnessed firsthand the untapped potential of my generation and the many hurdles that stand in its way. It is my endeavor to provide these minds with platforms, avenues, and networks through which they may expand their horizons. Ideas should never remain in theory. They should be put into action. This is what I strive for. When one has the audacity to question, the liberty to innovate, and the accountability to lead, societies can be changed. My idea worth spreading is clear: an empowered generation can create a world it wishes to live in.
