Bio

I was born in Tizayuca, a city an hour and a half away from Mexico City. I've been living in this city ever since, but always curious about what is there to be outside. I started studying English, and I ended up majoring in English Language Teaching. During university, I had the fortune to study a semester abroad in Czech Republic (at Masaryk University), which made me realize that, even though I enjoyed teaching English, I was keen into translating and interpreting. I made up my mind on it, and I decided to do a career change, with this being one of my first steps on it.

An idea worth spreading

That we humans should not let ourselves be limited by the language barrier. Yes, learning it's always important, but if someone doesn't have the opportunity (or doesn't use said opportunity) to learn a language, we should still help them to access to that knowledge rather than deny it. As Bong Joon-ho once said: 'Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.' I like to swap 'films' for any other given media.
