Bio

I am a student and freelance translator based in Valencia, Spain, with a strong interest in language and the power of ideas to cross cultural boundaries. I work with English, Spanish, and German, and I am particularly interested in translation projects related to the medical field and scientific and technical translation.

I'm passionate about

I’m passionate about languages and cultures because they shape the way we understand the world and connect with others. Having lived abroad for several years, I have had the opportunity to experience different cultures firsthand and to immerse myself in other languages. This experience has deeply enriched me, both personally and academically, and has strengthened my appreciation for cultural diversity and meaningful communication.

An idea worth spreading

Language connects people and allows ideas to travel across cultures. Through translation, complex knowledge (particularly in science and medicine) can become accessible, clear, and meaningful for a wider audience.

The TED story

I discovered TED through other students who often shared talks they found interesting or inspiring. At the time, I saw TED as a way to learn new things and improve my language skills, but it soon became much more than that. Many talks made me reflect, question my own ideas, and look at topics from perspectives I hadn’t considered before.

Things you might not know

People don’t know I’m good at adapting messages to different cultural contexts. Having lived abroad, I have developed a strong sensitivity to how meaning and tone can change across cultures.
