Bio
Hello! I'm Necoti, a high school student with a passion for languages, stories, and the subtle art of communication. I believe that words, when carefully translated, can cross oceans, cultures, and generations. That belief is what brought me here, to TED Translators.
Growing up multilingual and fascinated by meaning, I’ve always been drawn to how language shapes thought. I’m currently studying German while perfecting my English, and I aspire to become a professional translator working for international organizations like the United Nations.
Outside of school, I’m a writer and coder. I run a blog where I explore emotional science fiction themes like memory, identity, and the future of consciousness. I also enjoy designing experimental games and building digital projects, ranging from philosophical AI stories to web-based simulators that ask the big questions, like “What is meaning in a probabilistic universe?”
Translation, to me, is not just about converting words but it’s about carrying the spirit of a message across borders. TED Talks inspire me because they reflect humanity’s shared curiosity, wisdom, and courage. Being part of this mission, even as a student, means aligning my skills with something greater than myself.
I’m especially interested in talks related to global citizenship, ethics, education, technology, and storytelling. Every subtitle line I translate is a small step toward a world where knowledge is free, accessible, and deeply human.
Thank you for reading my bio. And thank you for being part of the global conversation.
I'm passionate about
programming, writing, philosophy, English, learning about other cultures.
An idea worth spreading
Ideas should not be trapped in one language, knowledge is only powerful when it is shared globally.
