Bio
I’m Agustina, a LATAM Spanish Translator specializing in audiovisual translation. Since the end of 2023, I’ve specialized in subtitling and dubbing script translation, ensuring content can reach all viewers without losing its impact or message.
I'm passionate about
Storytelling, especially through film. I have a soft spot for classics, particularly films from the 1950s. I love watching them with the original dubbing and seeing how much audiovisual translation has evolved.
An idea worth spreading
Translators are often invisible, yet they are the bridge between cultures. Their work enables us to access a wide range of media beyond our native language, but their names are rarely seen. Recognizing the people who connect the world through language is not just fair, it’s necessary.

The TED story
As a kid, I was obsessed with books and comics and dreamed of becoming a writer. Later, when I started learning English, I realized I didn’t just love stories, I loved the way different languages told them. That realization slowly shaped my path into translation. Now I work in audiovisual media, and I'm always looking for new ways to learn, adapt, and contribute to storytelling in my own way.
Things you might not know
Translating songs while preserving rhyme, rhythm, and wordplay. It’s a recent challenge I’ve taken on, and I've found out I enjoy breaking down the structure of a lyric and rebuilding it in Spanish.
