Bianca Pavel

I am a 24-year-old global citizen and I try, to the best of my abilities, to improve the lives of others and to spread information around me. I am a kindergarten English teacher and a client adviser in a call center. In my spare time, I educate myself about the various issues that affect the lives of people all around the world and I translate videos for TED.

I'm passionate about social issues, mainly issues concerning the LGBTQ+ groups, immigration, environment, and gender equality. I am continuously striving to learn more about the world around me, to have a better understanding of the different cultures and aspects that define those cultures all over the world. I believe in a world where men, women, transgender people, Christians, Muslims and atheists alike, people in the United States and in North Korea, should have the same opportunities to live a normal life, free of the pain and the struggles of economic hardships, discrimination and war.
