I want to show that what the translator does is meaningful and important and that the proper use of language is key to successful communication. It’s not just about what we say, but also how we say it. Just because someone doesn’t speak a foreign language doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have access to the knowledge of other countries.
Besides that, I also love rock climbing!

The TED story
When I was in high school, I discovered my first TED Talk on YouTube. Since then, I’ve been watching videos that interest me, and I’ve really liked the concept. A few months ago, I found out that I could become part of this community by volunteering (translating subtitles). As someone who loves foreign languages and studies translation, I didn’t hesitate for a minute. I joined right away!
Things you might not know
A lot of people don't know that I enjoy baking, especially cakes and cookies. Raspberry cheesecake is my specialty!! My family loves it and would do anything for it. But I'm not giving away the recipe! haha
