The TED story
My name is Rim Huang, currently a PhD candidate in oceanography. I have been listening to TED for years ever since I was a kid. As a non-native speaker, my initial intention was to learn English by watching those speeches. I would come back to TED even when I was busy with school and other things in life. I love TED and the idea of speading knowledge through people's voice, and I feel touched from time to time when I listen to their talks.
And over the years, I noticed there are more and more people craving for making their voice heard, which should not be blocked by any language barrier. I am here to translate them and allow more people to receive the message.
