Hi, I'm Val and I am from Argentina. When I was 9 I asked my mum to enrol me on an English course, because I had a fascination with learning a new language. I also attended an Italian school. After earning a degree in Legal Translation I moved to Europe, where I worked in different agencies and organizations as an in-house English-Spanish translator and Language Lead. My main area of expertise is Education, but I recently obtained a diploma in audiovisual translation and I fell in love with subtitling. I now live in Argentina and work as a freelance linguist.

Helping the people who need it in any way I can, spending time with my family, dancing flamenco and swimming. I enjoy a good chat with a close friend and reading late at night when everybody is asleep.

I've learned through my run-ins with anxiety and depression that plants and gardening can cure almost everything.
