Alright, let me imagine myself at a TEDx Stage for this part! I think I am living many of my dreams already. If I tell you what my dreams were, you might just feel that it was no big deal. For me however, achieving something I dreamt to achieve, is a BIG accomplishment! Nevertheless, let me list down a few. One of my dreams was to 'not' have short hair. As a kid I always had hair chopped till my ears and I wanted to have either medium length or really long hair. I would take my mom's scarfs to fake long hair while playing, it may sound funny but yes that's how desperate I was, and now I do not have 'too short' hair. That is one dream I'm living. Another achievement was, getting admission to the top ranked college for commerce in Asia, SRCC. It has been a dream to be at the top (metaphor), and being at SRCC makes me feel proud every single day. It was a big accomplishment for me. As a kid I was not too good at academics. I was one of the backbencher kids who would get punishment everyday for homework in primary school. So, I always wanted to be one of the decent students. In my high school, I fulfilled my dream of being the 1st rank holder too. Lived that dream. So yes, dreams matter to me. A lot! Fulfilling dreams fills me with immense pleasure. I believe I still have a lot more to learn, much more to accomplish, and a long way to go :) There are many many more such instances to list down, but I believe as an organizer, I have the opportunity to learn from your stories, so why speak much about mine? I can't wait to listen to your powerful ideas at TEDxSRCC!
