The TED story
I was first introduced to TED when a friend shared Barry Schwartz’s "The Paradox of Choice" with me. Years later, I discovered Sir Ken Robinson’s iconic talk "Do Schools Kill Creativity?", which remains one of my all-time favorites. Since then, I’ve been a longtime enthusiast of TED and TEDx, watching countless talks for both inspiration and education.
Shawn Achor’s "The Happy Secret to Better Work" inspired me to pursue a Master of Science in Positive Psychology. Now, as a university professor, I regularly use TED and TEDx talks as teaching tools in my own classes.
I’ve attended several TEDx events over the years, including TEDxIEMadrid 2023, TEDxLeón 2024, and TEDxUC3M 2025 because I love the energy and community they foster.
In September 2023, I had the privilege of giving my own TEDx talk at TEDxNOVA: "Social Media is Not Social, It’s Just Media." I hope it serves as a resource to helping people create deeper, more meaningful connections in real life.
I also recently joined the TED Translator program to help make these ideas more accessible globally. Through that initiative, I’ve come into contact with generous, collaborative people who are always eager to help.
I hope to one day step onto the TEDx (or TED, why not) stage again, and continue contributing to this global movement for ideas that change everything.
