As a specialist in audiovisual translation, I have built a solid background in multilingual subtitling, including Subtitling for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SDH), with a strong focus on linguistic accuracy, timing, and cultural coherence. I’m committed to LGBTQ+ community rights and inclusive representation, and I believe language plays a powerful role in visibility, dignity, and belonging. I first discovered TED Translators in September 2024, through CaptionHub, during a translation conference held in celebration of International Translation Day. During one of the sessions, TED Translators was mentioned as a valuable place to gain real-world experience in audiovisual translation while contributing to a global cause. That recommendation stayed with me. I was looking for a space where my skills in subtitling and transcription could grow while also serving a meaningful purpose. When I explored the TED Translators community, I realized it aligned perfectly with my values: accessibility, inclusion, and the belief that ideas should be available to everyone, regardless of language or hearing ability. Joining TED Translators felt like a natural step—not only to strengthen my professional experience, but to be part of a global network committed to sharing knowledge, amplifying voices, and making ideas truly worth spreading.

People don’t know I’m good at giving relaxing massages. I have a strong sense of touch and attention to detail, which helps me create calm, restorative moments for others—something that mirrors the care and focus I bring to my translation work.
