Graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), he went on to earn a Bachelor's in Chinese Language for Foreigners in 2011 from Shenyang University of Education in Liaoning, China. He was awarded scholarships from the Government of the People’s Republic of China in 2008 and the Chinese Language Council International (HANBAN) in 2012 to study Chinese language and receive teacher training. Since 2005, he has worked as a facilitator of intercultural learning experiences, teaching, lecturing, and leading workshops on language acquisition and pedagogy. From 2014 to 2024, he headed the Department of Russian, Asian Languages, and Modern Greek at UNAM's National School of Languages, Linguistics, and Translation (ENALLT) where he currently teaches chinese, contributes to academic projects, and coordinates initiatives promoting Asian languages and cultures. He has also collaborated with UNAM's University Seminar on Asian Studies and the University Program for Asian and African Studies, co-coordinating the submodule about China for the Diploma in Asian Studies and serving as academic coordinator for events on Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and other regions. In 2015, he joined the Organizing Committee for the International Congress on Chinese Language Teaching, co-hosted by El Colegio de México, ENALLT, and the Confucius Institute at UNAM. I’m deeply passionate about the intersections of language, culture, and creative expression. In both my teaching and translation work, I find great purpose in making language learning engaging and accessible, especially for students exploring Chinese. I hope one day to be able of crafting innovative educational materials and integrating technology to personalize the learning experience excites me, as it allows me to bring the language alive for my students. I also find fulfillment in sharing Asian cultures through events, workshops, and cultural programs, fostering understanding and connection across cultures. Beyond teaching, often inspired by the places I visit and the people I meet, my creative writing allows me to explore language on a more personal level, expressing emotions and experiences that deepen my own understanding and connection with others. This creative pursuit enriches my work and offers students an additional layer of connection to language and culture. Inclusivity and support for neurodiverse and diverse learners are central to my approach, influencing my teaching, writing, and academic projects, as I strive to create spaces where all voices are respected and celebrated.

Learning a new language is a profound act of empathy, one that dissolves barriers and transforms us, enabling us to experience the world as others do, bridging cultures and fostering a shared humanity.
