I am proficient in both my mother tongue, Arabic, and English. I have a 20 year+ experience in frequent translation between Arabic and English I am also good at captioning and subtitling, media creation and editing, including photo, video and audio editing.

Today English has become the language of science and technology and I believe that we; bilinguals and multilinguals in the Arab region, have a moral responsibility to give back to our community, which happened to be suffering low rates of literacy and even lower levels of second or third languages. Volunteering in TED as a translator is my first step to give back!

I volunteered in TED to fulfil, in part, my moral responsibility to give back to our community of Arabic speakers, so that they can benefit from the inspiration, great ideas and motivation in TED talks.
