Bio
Originally from Uruguay , I spent nearly fifteen years in New York working mainly in the bar/club's scene as a bartender and the last year in the solar energy field as a designer and installer of photovoltaic and thermal systems. I am very strict and committed in all my jobs to always reach the deadlines. I have an Associate's Degree in Designer and Installer of Photovoltaic and Thermal Solar Systems, a NABCEP PV Entry Level Certificate of Knowledege as well as a certification in Advanced Grid-tied PV Systems from Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) at Bronx Community College. All these experiences allow me to translate a wide range of topics from technical manuals about sustainable energies and electrical power to website's contents, SEO, localization, menus and anything in between. I also translated and promoted an electronic book of my authorship about the secrets of tending a bar and actuaaly I'm translating the book "Conceptual maps" from english to spanish for a local client. I'm new in the translation field, so a friend of mine with more experience told me about TED as a way to gain experience and at the same time learn and support causes that I might be interested in.
