Hello! My name is Teresa Fontes, and I am an English to Spanish (LatAm) Audiovisual and Certified Translator. I am thrilled to be part of the TED Translators community.

Learning about other cultures through languages.

I've always loved TED videos. They inspire me to change and improve myself. As I started studying translation, I wanted to put into practice what I've learned and get into the world of subtitling. I found out that TED videos could be subtitled and transcripted if you joined as a volunteer, so here I am! I am more than grateful for being part of this amazing community.
