Bio
Hi! I’m Amni Gupta and I translate TEDx talks between English and Hindi. I care deeply about making knowledge more accessible, and I see translation as a way to make sure no one misses out on ideas that could inspire, inform, or create change.
Outside of TED, I’m a student with a strong interest in medicine, science communication, and global health. I run The Science Palette, where I break down surprising science topics for younger audiences, and I’m involved in community outreach through the Red Cross and other educational initiatives. I believe language, like science, is a tool for connection, and I’m here to help build that bridge.
I'm passionate about
I’m passionate about making complex science and health topics accessible to everyone, especially young people, because I believe understanding is key to empowerment. As an aspiring physician, I’m committed to bridging gaps in knowledge and communication to improve health outcomes and inspire the next generation to care deeply about their well-being. I also believe that clear communication and empathy are just as important as medical knowledge in creating meaningful change, and I hope to bring both into my future practice.
An idea worth spreading
Invisible chemicals surround us every day, changing us quietly, invisibly, and permanently.
- Every day, we’re exposed to tiny amounts of chemicals in the air, food, and products around us. Though invisible and often overlooked, these low-level exposures can quietly affect our health over time in ways science is only beginning to understand. Potentially changing how we prevent and treat diseases in the future.
