Mehrnoosh Baratpour believes in female leaders. Her mission is to provide opportunities for young girls and mature women to find their talent, and embrace and cultivate it. She believes in a time where we have much more impactful female leaders who are accepted and empowered by the community. Mehrnoosh is the COO of IdeaRun Startup Studio and Co-Organizer of TEDxTehran 2019. She has also organized the first TEDxWomen event in Iran.I love creating anything, from crafting to painting. I'm also working as an art therapist and social worker volunteer to support children suffering from cancer. Every week I dedicate 2 hours to meet these children in a hospital in Tehran. We play and create things that help them go stronger with their situation and learn more about the magic of life. I'm obsessed with organized life. I have a Monica Geller in me who loves to organize her life and enjoys being in charge. I'm eager to learn more and more and more, and try to live a life full of organized helpful creations.

I learned about TEDxTehran on September 16th, 2014. Having 10 days left to TEDxTehran 2014 event and emailing the organizers, I could not become a volunteer worker at TEDxTehran team. So I just applied to attend the event and got accepted. I was really amazed by the organization and how well everything was planned on that day. I was really thrilled about the idea of sharing "Ideas Worth Spreading". That day I promised to myself join TEDxTehran team and dedicate a part of my life to it. The next year I applied for volunteering as soon as the applications were open. I joined the team as a hostess and did as much as I could to bring everything, from catering to helping attendees, at the right time, and with the best quality. Since then I'm a member of TEDxTehran team and have played different roles in TEDxTehran and TEDxYouth@Tehran events: hostess, registration executive, social media executive, technical director, co-organizer.
