The TED story

TED talks became a part of my life back in 2019, when I was at my lowest point, often taking it out on pages and writing poems. With little motivation to move forward, I often browsed youtube for inspiring speeches, songs, or podcasts. That’s when I stumbled across a TED talk by Olivia Remes’ talk, “How to Cope with Anxiety” over which I even wrote an article. With time, watching TED talks almost became instinctive. Listening to them while running, walking or cooking became natural. It's not just the ideas shared that inspired me but the confidence and aura of the speakers. It fascinated me to the extent that it became my dream to one day stand on that same red carpet. I may not have spoken on the TEDx stage yet, but I have become the person who brings speakers and audience together under the same platform I admire, as a TEDx organizer.
