I'm an EN>IT | FR>IT translator who's currently specialising in creative translations (transcreation, localisation, subtitling) while also pursuing a career in research (Translation Studies). I am a night owl, a bookworm and a language enthusiast. When I am not translating, you may find me browsing JSTOR, speaking French to my cat, or rewatching the same series for the umpteenth time. TED has played a really important role in my educational journey. I stumbled across TED's YT channel when I was younger and just starting to realise how much I loved languages. When I got to university, many of my interpreting classes required us to watch and translate what the speakers were saying, pronto. Now, I sometimes watch back the same videos and realise how much I've grown as a translator. I hope my subtitles will help fellow curious people develop their own strengths.
