I am a seasoned English-to-Portuguese translator with seven years of experience serving clients, professional communities, and academic ventures. I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and concurrently pursuing a Ph.D. in Physics at the Federal University of Uberlândia. My current research focuses on advancing a spectroscopic technique in tandem with artificial intelligence, designed to accurately measure blood oxygen levels. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have completed a one-year teaching internship at the college. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of participating as a member of the Scientific Committee for the SIFAM Symposium at the Federal University of Uberlândia for three consecutive editions. Throughout these engagements, I have been actively involved in translation and proofreading tasks.

In my free time, I engage in translation tasks and am working on a fantasy novel. What truly ignites my inspiration is art, particularly music. I thrive on new experiences, meeting diverse individuals and their narratives, and exploring new destinations. My life's aim is constant personal growth to evolve mentally, physically, and spiritually. Traveling, in particular, provides an avenue for fresh encounters and the exploration of the myriad beauties our world holds. It serves as an ongoing opportunity for learning, where I encounter beauty, truths, and endless possibilities at every turn.

How about establishing a community-driven platform encouraging skill-sharing and knowledge exchange among its members? This platform could enable individuals within a community to offer workshops, classes, or mentorship sessions based on their expertise or passions. It would provide an opportunity for people to teach what they know, learn from others, and form connections, fostering a culture of continuous learning and support within the community. This could be facilitated through in-person events or online sessions, accommodating various schedules and preferences. The impact could be multifaceted, including the cultivation of a sense of belonging, the democratization of knowledge, and the nurturing of diverse skills and interests within the community.

A friend introduced me to TED, sharing that the organization aims to unearth and share ideas that ignite the imagination, explore possibilities, and create meaningful change. Moreover, It’s open to individuals from diverse backgrounds and fields, fostering a deeper understanding of the world and building connections.

I have a range of skills waiting for the right opportunity. Writing is a strong suit, from creative prose to explaining scientific ideas. I’m also skilled in formatting text for clarity and appeal. Using Microsoft tools enhances my work. I excel in copywriting, weaving engaging narratives. Managing relationships is a strength, fostering connections and understanding in social dynamics.
