I am a state-certified translator for English and German specialised in economics and currently studying International Business in Germany. Since February 2025, I have been part of the volunteer translator community at TED, where I subtitle and transcribe TED Talks. I enjoy working with languages and making complex ideas clear and accessible across cultures. Contributing to TED matters to me because I believe that access to knowledge should not depend on the language you speak.

I am passionate about language and its role in shaping how we understand the world. With my background in economics and my current studies in international business, I am particularly interested in making complex global topics accessible to a wider audience through translation.

I have been watching TED Talks since I was young and have always appreciated how clearly complex ideas are communicated. During my translation studies, a teacher who regularly used TED Talks in class sparked my deeper interest in them. When I later learned about the opportunity to volunteer as a translator for TED, I was immediately hooked. It felt like the perfect way to combine my passion for languages with meaningful content, and I’ve been contributing through subtitling and transcription ever since.
