Bio
I'm a Brazilian who's been living in England for the past few years. I worked as an English teacher in Brazil and came to the UK mostly to study and qualify as an ESL teacher.
Things didn't go as planned and I ended up working everywhere, from cleaner to call centre agent, and for a while I was lost. I didn't know what to do or what I wanted from life.
Deep down I've always known, I think, that I wanted to be a linguist. It's something I've always enjoyed doing: researching, trying to uderstand how the (English) language works, so this year I've decided to take the first step and start pursuing a career as a translator. I know it's a long journey, but I also know it's going to be worth it.
