My YouTube recommendations and TED have been in a long-term relationship for years. One talk always leads to another, and before I know it, I've spent an evening learning about something completely unexpected. I figured it was time to give back to a community that's taught me so much.

Most people know me for my work in public health and research, but they don't always know how much I enjoy strategy games. Whether it's a game of chess, a tricky puzzle, or a competitive board game, I love the challenge of spotting patterns, thinking a few steps ahead, and finding creative solutions. It's probably the closest thing I have to a "recharge" button.
