I am inspired and excited to utilize my linguistic acquirements to spread world-leading ideas. My love of reading, and rigorous philosophy and literature courses have provided me with exquisite linguistic sensibilities, as well as a first rate writing ability both in Japanese and English. Working as an in-house technical translator where accuracy and unambiguousness are foremost important, I have gained sharp analytical perspectives both as the Japanese and English readers. I have also developed research skills necessary to understand the original texts. In my last year at Renesas Solutions Corp., my wish was granted and I was authorized to create Japanese and English manuals for application developers from a manufacture’s design specification written in Japanese. Through this challenging and responsible position, I have developed a strong ability to adjust the way to deliver the content based on the specific target audience and country. With my experience both working at the prestigious company and working as a freelancer, I am confident that I can make a profound contribution to TED and Japanese-speaking people.

I am passionate about delivering the quality translation to pull on a heart-string in the same way as the original speech.
