Recent work experience
May 2015 - Owner of and Freelance translator at ASM Translations. Proofreading and translations from English, Norwegian and German to Danish, Swedish and British English.
Mar 2015 – May 2015 Translator for Cititravel in Málaga. Translating the travel agency´s golfing webpage from English/Spanish to Swedish.
Sept 2014 – Nov 2014 Internship at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. I was an intern within the "Small Island developing States” section. One of my tasks was to assist with the organisation of a conference on climate change. I also regularly wrote updates and briefings for the section, and translated and edited English documents for non-French speakers.
Jan 2014 - Mar 2014 Evaluation consultant at Individuell Människohjälp in Lund. I examined IM's membership in the World Fair Trade Organization, WFTO, through a literature study and interviews undertaken with staff members at IM. The final evaluation was presented at a IM board meeting in Stockholm in April 2014.
Dec 2012 – Jan 2014 Translator/writer for Contentor. Translating texts from Swedish/English to Danish and writing texts in Danish and Swedish within many different areas such as traveling and tourism, poker and fashion.
Jan 2012 – Mar 2012 Internship at the department for communications and marketing at Skånes Dansteater in Malmö. I translated material to Danish, edited and uploaded information on the theatre's new webpage. I wrote successful applications for a film produced in house to be used in dance film festivals around the world. I also did research for future marketing campaigns and much more.

Sept 2013 – Feb 2014 Volunteering at a Swedish language café arranged by the Red Cross. Through the volunteer work I got in contact with refugees and foreigners from many different countries and cultures.
Feb 2012 - Sept 2013 I was involved with the organisation Positive Footsteps that arranges the Baobab festival in Malmö. The aim was to raise money for humanitarian projects, such as building schools, in West Africa. In 2012 I volunteered as an assisting decoration coordinator and 2013 as assisting volunteer coordinator.
Sept - Dec 2012 I was active in the student association TSiL, which works for diversity, anti-racism and integration. We arranged, in cooperation with the Red Cross, festive evenings that worked as meeting places for people with different backgrounds who usually would not meet.
May 2011 Volunteering at the Assitej performing arts festival for children and young people in Malmö/Copenhagen. The work included ticketing, helping visitors with questions and practical preparations.
