Engineer

Passionate Civil Engineer, graduated in 2022 and currently studying Masters in Transportation Engineering at Tishreen University. As a researcher in the transport sector, I look forward to utilizing my studies in supporting green mobility in urban areas and to increase sustainable modes of transport because as a society we are under immense pressure to make the essential changes to prevent further sustainable damages in the social, economic and environmental aspect. Hence, transportation and traffic engineers play a fundamental role in creating designs to promote green mobility now and in the future.

Working side by side with others from very diverse backgrounds will help me develop mentoring skills, build my confident and interact with people at multiple levels of an organization. Besides that, volunteering help me feel better about myself by benefitting the community or the environment I work in.

I maintain a fierce determination to learn and make a better future for my society, despite the many obstacles in my path. When I was 18 years old, I took the decision to study civil engineering, hoping that after over a decade of destruction and conflict in my country, I can contribute to the recovery of infrastructure and services in my country Syria.
