Bio

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm a shy but eclectic, creative and adventurous person. I experimented a bunch of different things in my life. I have traveled and camped a good deal around my country and our neighboring ones. I've lived 6 years in Brazil, 5 of them in a rural, subtropical forest region where I've learned to plant, to build a house, to care for a garden, nature and all the lovely beings that surrounded me. One of the best experiences of my life. I really enjoy being in direct, constant contact with nature. So much that I now live in Patagonia, surrounded with breathtaking landscapes, enormous mountains and beautiful forests, studying what I want to do the rest of my life: Agroecology, or "how to exist in this world without destroying it" I love how learning languages had helped me discover amazing new worlds and expand my notion of possibility in this life. I continue to learn every day thanks to it, and so I'm passionate about sharing those treasures with everyone. Being so, I started to work as a self-taught English/Portuguese to Spanish translator in 2013, Last year, a colleague and I have started Rizoma, a translation coop., working mainly on the topics of Agroecology, Permaculture, Social Sciences, Anthropology and Political Philosophy. We work very close to Scholars, Social Movements, non-profits, activists and community organizations, trying to do our part in fostering freedom, ecology, autonomy, community values and empowerment while doing the job we love the most: create bridges, connect people and ideas through translation, making incredible friendships in the process. To start translating TED Talks as a hobby when not working, was just a matter of time... I'm glad I've found this community.
