Hey, my name is Nour, and I'm a translator and captioner for TED I love volunteering and find TED a superb platform to collaborate with. My dream is to make a change in the Arab world and see the people there have more access to all science resources. And I love to see the middle east more peaceful and more developed.

The Arab world needs more easily accessible science resources; all Arabic resources are not enough, and young people there suffer from the lack of resources and the low experience of their teachers. besides the negative impact of the Arabic regimes so now young people are consistently brainwashed with different agendas and misleading information; no matter how silly it is, some people follow that information because they do not know where to find the right authentic source of information and news. That's a deep problem facing the Arab world right now, and we need all kinds of support to solve this problem because lack of knowledge and poor knowing of the scientific method is a significant barricade preventing people and countries from developing so here comes the importance of the TED platform, which gives the world an authentic, reliable resource of information and shows the information in an easy, simple way that makes people more related to science TED opens the eyes to the real challenges that face humanity; that message is priceless
