About Hyun-Tae
Bio
Dr Hyun-Tae Kim studied his first and masters' degrees at Seoul National University and was awarded his PhD in Plasma Physics from Imperial College, London with research at CCFE (Culham Centre for Fusion Energy). His PhD topic was on plasma burn-through simulations for tokamak start-up, and he is now working in the CCFE Theory and Modelling Department on TRANSP simulations for energy and particle transport analysis in tokamaks.
