The TED story
I have a chronic disease which made it impossible to work at any job that requires physical effort so I started exploring what other options I have to support myself and translation was a high possibility, I'm bilingual and I like cultures, languages etc... so why not develop that skill to support myself instead of just working as a pizza baker which consumes my health considering standing for long hours and the vicious physical effort needed.
It's not all about money, I like volunteering as well and there's no shame in seeking to develop my skills in translations and getting some recognition.
