Hi everyone! I'm Francesca, I'm from Italy and I'm 24 years old. I'm currently writing my master degree's dissertation as I will graduate soon, and in the meantime I keep myself occupied and entertained by carrying out several tasks such as surtitling for opera, writing audio descriptions for visually impaired patrons, translating for TED and so on.

I'm passionate about learning new, challenging languages. I'm keen on reading classic as well as modern novels and I enjoy getting to know other inspiring, friendly people. I absolutely adore Japan and all of the things that come along with it, especially mangas and animes, and I would love to visit the country one day.

I joined the TED family just recently and I'm more than happy to be a small but certain part of it, and I will do my best to be worthy of it!

I'm pretty good at all of those stuff related to graphic design, and even though I have not an academic kind of knowledge of these subjects I really enjoy learning about it on my own.
