Bio
Master in Translation, with emphasis on Corpus Linguistics, from the University of São Paulo (USP). I included my passions in my study: translation, children's literature and languages. I analyzed Dr. Seuss’ neologisms translated into Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese pondering the characteristics of picture books and also presenting the history of children's literature and its translation in Brazil and China.
My thesis reflected my other degrees and interests, since I have Bachelor and Teaching Degrees in Portuguese and Chinese Languages and Literature also from USP. During my bachelor's degree I was awarded a Foreign Exchange Scholarship based on Academic Merit and lived for a year in China. At the time I studied at Xi'an International Studies University, where I practiced university teaching.
