I was born and raised in Iran, having lived here all my life. I am a master degree student in Transportation Engineering at the University of Science and Research Branch of Tehran. I am Interested in traffic safety particularly Drivers Behavior, and English Translation. Passionate about learning new things through meeting people and reading books, I also love learning Mandarin Chinese.

As a global citizen, I believe in shared information, open source software, and creative commons. I hope that one day, information will transfer faster than currency does, and people in the world will understand each other better with an open mind, being tolerant and creative. May we create a better future together.

I have been a TED fan for years. After joining TED OTP in 2015, besides scientific topics such as transportation and traffic which closer to my background, I also challenged myself on other interesting topics– sports, education, economics and etc. Except for the talks, I started to focus more on those brilliant people and ideas in TED Conferences. I was greatly impressed by some outstanding Persian translations that delivered the essential ideas in an appropriate and dramatic way. I am really glad to work with other language coordinators and volunteers who have been inspiring me by their talent and hard works and feel honored for being the translator of many great TED Talks.
