I'm a psychology student finishing her degree who wants to use her knowledge and free time to help in something that might be useful to someone else. During my academic education, TED and its talks were a frequent presence in my and my colleagues lives. However, due to the lack of subtitles, I saw several of my colleagues struggling to understanding these amazing ideas. In that sense, becoming a TED translator came to me as a way to try to compensate for these situations and help the ideas present in TEDtalks spread to more people who speak my native language.
