Bio
I'm Gisu Bang. I'm shy but strong, scrupulous activist and crossdisciplinary supporter. I'm also finding better way to get sustainability. I'm currently undergraduate student at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), majoring aerospace engineering and minoring electrical engineering from 2010. Also, I'm exchange student for SS 2013 at Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM) in Germany. And I was TEDxKAIST Organizer from 2010 to share new ideas to KAIST and change the people. (will be updated later)
I'm passionate about
all fields. not only science and technology. From this, I want to be crossdisciplinary expert in many fields. and actually, I'm helping many people around me in many fields.
An idea worth spreading
I can share so many things to you, so if you want some ideas, then just contact me. One saying I like it is "'Our' actions make 'us'." We can be 'us' by our action.
The TED story
I met TED first time in 2009. Maybe I heard about that before by chance, but I do not remember about that. In 2010. I attended many TEDx events in Korea just as an attendee for several events, as a volunteer for TEDxSeoul and as an organizer for TEDxKAIST. I'm founding member of TEDxKAIST from 2010 when I was 17 years old. and I participated to TEDx community in Korea for short period like TEDxSeoul Tribe or something like that. Also, I'm TED Translator, too. These days, I didn't translate any talks, but I'm translating one of the TED Senior Fellow, who I met him in August 2012, Cesar Harada's Unreasonable Sea project blog posting. In 2013, I attended TEDGlobal 2013 in Edinburgh and I was so impressed about that and I will change many things around me soon.
Things you might not know
information gathering, integrating. and observation and analyzing anything. Also I'm good at supporting the others in many ways by myself to make better work.
