Teacher of English as Second Language for a decade. With wide experience abroad. Started the career as a translator while still teaching, out of a big love for words and its universe. Blog writer, interest in film-making and currentlly discovering a passion for subtitling. Worked as translator for several websites and blogs, always keeping an eye on subjetcs that might be needed for the enrichment of the brazilian culture. I take great pleasure in bringing new ideas to the people in my country. I have translated some phlilantropic projects into English, too. That helped enabled organizations getting funds and support.

Changing the paradigm about work. Women empowerment. New education.

I came across TED after subscribing to Netflix. I started watching the talks and immediately fell in love with the topics and their amazing flow and sense. I´ve got a broader mind today thanks to TED. After the first impressions I started hearing about TED from many different sources, and I felt amazed how it took me so long to find out about it. Today I am registering because I really believe in the importance of the spreading of new ideas worth it, and beacause I want to be professionaly connected to projects like this. I really identify with the work, and it is a chance to exercise my new passion and my talent with captioning and translating videos.

Not everybody know I am good at captioning, writing poetry, handcraft, reading.
