Bio
Teacher of English as Second Language for a decade. With wide experience abroad.
Started the career as a translator while still teaching, out of a big love for words and its universe.
Blog writer, interest in film-making and currentlly discovering a passion for subtitling.
Worked as translator for several websites and blogs, always keeping an eye on subjetcs that might be needed for the enrichment of the brazilian culture. I take great pleasure in bringing new ideas to the people in my country. I have translated some phlilantropic projects into English, too. That helped enabled organizations getting funds and support.
I'm passionate about
music, yoga, literature, walking long distances, the beach, travelling, learning, writing, teaching, raising children, childbirth, sacred feminine, social sciences, dancing, singing, travelling.
An idea worth spreading
Changing the paradigm about work. Women empowerment. New education.
The TED story
I came across TED after subscribing to Netflix. I started watching the talks and immediately fell in love with the topics and their amazing flow and sense. I´ve got a broader mind today thanks to TED. After the first impressions I started hearing about TED from many different sources, and I felt amazed how it took me so long to find out about it. Today I am registering because I really believe in the importance of the spreading of new ideas worth it, and beacause I want to be professionaly connected to projects like this. I really identify with the work, and it is a chance to exercise my new passion and my talent with captioning and translating videos.
