Bio

My name is María Concepción Pomar Rosselló, I am a university professor in Spain. I studied a B.A. English Philology at UNED and later on ICT applied to the field of teaching in Fundación Uned. I've been working for VIU University and Enki Mallorca magazine for more than three years. I teach or have taught the subjects "English Literature and Didactics", "English in the Classroom II", "Liguistics in the English Language", "Textual Learning: Understanding and Producing Oral and Written Texts" and "Oral and Written Texts as LearningTools for the Acquisition of Reception and Production Skills" in the degrees of Infant and Primary Education. Writer, editor, proofreader, translator for the magazine Enki Mallorca for more than two years. Also Montessori Assistant Guide, ages 3-6. Biographer of illustrious people for the not-for-profit, educative site BioSiglos.com. Writer and translator on demand, private teacher, poetress, avid reader and dedicated writer, enjoying from an addiction to MOOCs, fierily devoted to my family and my marriage.

Things you might not know

I'm actually quite good at crocheting. I crocheted the whole of my wedding dress: a creative and nice solution for having a decent dress exactly as I wanted for just the price of a few balls of cotton yarn.
