I'm a native Italian, but I've always felt like I don't belong only to my country and culture, hence my passion for learning new languages and discovering new cultures and visions of the world. Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to leave Italy and travel the world, but it is my biggest dream to walk through London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and many more – for now, I’ll keep watching, listening, and learning from a distance. I’m an optimist who loves life, and I put passion, enthusiasm and dedication in everything I do. People have called me in many ways – a warrior, a force of nature, a lioness – but I think of myself simply as a very lucky person who was blessed with the love, strength and courage to defeat leukemia and with the gift of a new bone marrow donated by an anonymous lady I’ll always be grateful to. The most important thing I’ve learned from all the pain of the past years is that every single moment I’m granted – from waking up in my own bed at home to falling asleep after saying goodnight to my dear ones – is the greatest gift of all. My aim is to continue appreciating this amazing second life I was given, making the most of it despite all the hurdles and drawbacks. I recently managed to achieve two important goals – earning a bachelor’s degree in Linguistic Mediation and a master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation. My aim now is to turn my greatest passion – translating audiovisual products – into a job, and I'm definitely ready to start!
