Bio
Being accepted in one of the best national universities, Amirkabir University (former Polytechnic Tehran), soon I was fond of activities beyond just studying Computer Science. Organizing events, campaigning against some low-quality course professors, designing & implementing annual ceremonies, launching and writing/editing for a student magazine, etc. were only part of what I did during my years in the university. Then I joined as a volunteer to people who were starting Iran's startup community. I helped them in organizing the biggest tech and startup events in the country. After Iran's leading startup accelerator, Avatech, was established I joined it as Community Builder. What I'm most passionate about is to found a platform by which people from all around the world will learn how to form their communities and be able to find the best ones they'd love.
I'm passionate about
People, Communities, Social Dynamics.

The TED story
I was inspired by TEDxNaghshejahan a few years ago. After participating, I initiated a TED-like event at Amirkabir University for a few months. Then I applied for TEDxAUT license to elaborate more on the big problems of our generation.
Next, we put the focus on Amirkabir himself. He was a potential seed which was nurtured properly so he made big changes in a dark era of Persia. If each one of us learns to become an Amirkabir in our own positions, then we'll have the most successful country in the world.
This is what we're pursuing in TEDxAmirkabirUniversity. Trying to find seeds, help them get exposure and connect them to people/places who'd nurture them.
