The TED story
I've been watching TED talks for several years, always feeling inspired and uplifted by them. When a friend told me that it is possible to volunteer I just had to do it. I never got any of the translation jobs I applied for when I was younger, probably because I had no education or real experience, I just love working with words - like a real nerd.
And, I felt that this could be my way of giving back to those TED talkers who have given me so much and to the people who would otherwise miss out on the wonderful ideas that are being shared all over the world. That means something to me.
