📝 As a cultural studies expert and as a teacher, I like to provide my students with a critical approach to discourse (media, political or cultural). I aim to raise their awareness on cultural & global contemporary issues. My focus primarily pertains to the English-speaking world. I have had a wide variety of teaching experiences, ranging from secondary school to college undergraduate & graduate students. I am therefore able to design teaching materials aimed to different target audience. 📢 In my opinion, social sciences and linguistics hold the key to understand and to tackle some of the world’s most important challenges, may they be social, geopolitical, or business-related. I am convinced that a cross-disciplinary approach to these fields can lead to a more accurate understanding of these issues. Moreover, I believe it offers a chance to create a mutual understanding with one’s teammates or business partners in international trade or within a multicultural team. 🔍 As of today, I’m developing my transcreation skills and knowledge (transcreation is about adapting a message to a different culture) so that I can offer my expertise to international operating businesses.
