The TED story
In 2016, I was looking desperately for a volunteering opportunity, I just wanted to help and to be part of something bigger.
I was caught by the idea that I'm very good at English; I actually love it, and I can do something about that. So for my luck, I found the opportunity to become a member of TED Translators community.
Although I knew nothing about translation back then, thanks to TED, I had the chance to become not only a volunteer but also to gain a new profession to start my career.
Things you might not know
Public speaking:
Since I was a little child, I used to stand up on the sofa, make speeches and perform whatever comes to my mind. At primary school, I had the chance to speak in front of an audience at the official celebrations at school. As older as I got, I was speaking up for my own principles and thoughts, speaking up to support my social youth initiative, or even facilitating a workshop about many aspects regarding development issues.
