Bio
Having grown up in Sweden and studied music there, in the UK, and in Holland, I returned to Sweden to join the Malmö Symphony Orchestra. Eventually I moved to Dorset in the UK to join the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and here I share a home with my partner and our cat, and practice Buddhism at Shinnyo-en UK.
I'm passionate about
Human communication has always intrigued me - how we try to communicate who we are, try to reach out beyond the boundaries of our own thoughts, and interact with a sometimes bewildering world and its inhabitants. Language is slightly miraculous I think...
The TED story
I've always found TED talks really interesting, and as my Swedish was getting rusty after 11 years abroad I decided to start translating TED talks - keeps me coherent in my mother tongue while I learn all sorts of new things, feels like a win win!
