The TED story
Out of my aspiration to enable the inspiring TED Talks to “crisscross languages and borders”, I become a TED translator in the Open Translation Project, where I work toward bringing TED Talks beyond the English-speaking world by offering Chinese subtitles, interactive transcripts, and the ability for any talk to be translated in cooperation with contributors worldwide. I have been a TED believer for years but have only discovered how I can contribute to the community very recently. Now being part of the TED OTP community, I am most dedicated in building a stronger team with Chinese-English bilinguals from across the globe, and striving to produce high-quality subtitles for Chinese audiences.
